Nemo is a next-generation financial platform designed to make investing more relatable, visual, and accessible. The brand’s mission Never Miss Out aims to inspire users to take confident action in their financial journey.

 

I was responsible for translating Nemo’s visual identity into a cohesive digital experience through a responsive website, motion content, social and app store assets that build trust, engagement, and brand recognition.

Target Audience

 

Nemo targets digital-first investors aged 20–40, many of whom are new to trading and prefer a platform that feels approachable and modern rather than corporate. The design needed to capture that energy that is bold enough to excite, yet structured enough to reassure. Visuals balance authority with playfulness, using motion and storytelling to make finance engaging without intimidation.

The Challenge

 

The key challenge was transforming Nemo’s bold visual identity into an intuitive, trustworthy digital experience. Using the Nemo style guide, I applied a unified visual language across all outputs. The Moderat typeface and vivid colour palette balanced clarity with energy, while the circular monogram device linked web, motion, and app visuals. Dynamic imagery and interactive data storytelling helped communicate complex ideas simply and encourage user action.

The responsive Nemo.money website was tested iteratively to ensure users understood its purpose and features. Content was structured to build confidence and make investing approachable.

A series of promotional and educational videos were developed to help users understand Nemo’s features and bring the brand’s energy to life through motion. Each piece followed Nemo’s design language, combining clarity, storytelling, and visual engagement.

  1. Produced animated explainer and promotional videos showcasing key app functions and benefits.
  2. Applied Nemo’s circular graphic device and colour palette to create a cohesive motion identity.
  3. Designed motion templates and transitions for consistent use across social, web, and onboarding channels.
  4. Optimised animations for accessibility and clarity, ensuring legibility and performance across devices.

App Store and Google Play assets were designed to showcase Nemo’s brand while driving visibility and downloads.

  1. Created screenshots, preview videos, and feature graphics aligned with brand guidelines.

  2. Highlighted key features with bold typography and concise messaging.

  3. Optimised visuals for iOS and Android, ensuring legibility and platform consistency.

  4. Built adaptable assets for A/B testing and campaign use, improving engagement.

I designed a series of marketing email campaigns to engage users and highlight Nemo’s product themes. Each campaign applied Nemo’s visual identity while adapting layouts for readability and performance across devices and platforms.
